IV 198 . This is just a mech I built during a weekend. With this one, I sought to get away from my typical gundam shell, and build something unusual for me. All in all I'm rather pleased with this, especially the body. I also experimented with a striping technique (the yellow on the right) I feel this adds a more realistic and flashy effect if done right (not sure I have!). The shoulder design is based of the Quebeley from the zeta gundams, I think they turned out alright. ANother aspect I find interesting, is the curved pieces going over the thighs, although I feel it would have been better suited to another model (something skinnier) I think they make the legs more interesting. As for the weapons, one is just basically a beam saber, the other is a gun I just threw together because I felt this thing was under-armed. The gun can be mounted on the shoulder, or held. Anyways, that about covers it, Here are the pictures! . I rather Like the stripe, if you think I could improve this kind of thing, don't hesitate to tell me! I experimented more with posing than usual, seeing as how my gundams aren't the most pose-able things, I kinda wanted to do as much as I could with this one. This are just close ups of the body itself, which is probably my favorite part of the whole model. It reminds me a bit of an EVA body, but maybe thats just me. A close up of the leg. The last few shots just show how the foot moves.
