Scania R730 'The Dragon' full combo . Scania R730 ''The Dragon'' full combo with Ekeri reefer. . My 1:16 scaled Scania combination is finally ready. It is based on Scandinavian showtrucks that run total lenghts of a bit more than 25 meters, often with many custom elements and airbrushes. This truck is 100% Lego. Some bricks where chromed (real metal plating) in cooperation with Bricks4all in The Netherlands. The stickers I made myself and are based on Fantasy dragon art. I Photoshopped them in order to fit the Lego colors. A lot of hours went into this job, but it lifted this model into a fresh direction with it, as I had never done something like that on a Lego build before. Simulating airbrush work has always been a wish for me, and this seems the good technique. A buddy of mine printed the foils, and pre-cutted them. My lovely wife applied them, with painstaking patience, as I did not dare to do it ;-) This model will be on display at the Lowlug display at Lego Fanwelt in Cologne, Germany, in a 12 meter truck display from Dennis Bosman and me. Come and meet us there! This is basically the 2nd version of this truck. First of all I added 4 studs on the length. I also added the cooling unit, and modified the skirts to make them more real. I lowered the top lights, and changed the warning lights into another type. The tribal flames I removed as I renewed all stickers on the combo for better color synchronisation.
