2003 Ford Falcon BA XR8 Utility . Big V8-powered work vehicle! . After too many bricklink orders of lime green (why did I have to pick a not-so-common colour???) I finally finished this ute. It is 57 studs long and 20 studs wide. Not sure of the piece count, but it's alot! It's relatively sturdy with the only real weak points being the doors (I couldn't get hinges in lime, so they are held on by a black hinge in the racing stripe, so come off pretty easily). The doors, bonnet, tray cover and tray gate all open. Lime was the closest I could get to the Acid colour used on these cars. Enjoy. Please post C&C below (I know I'm not getting any better with my photography :( ). Raised bonnet to fit the V8 engine. Tray lid and tail opened... ... and closed again. I did rush the interior a bit (and it shows, I know). It took me so long to get this done (due to the size and waiting on multiple bricklink orders) that by the time I got to the interior I was a bit over it. I've decided that this will be my last large scale car (at least for the moment). The building time and piece-count is getting too much. So I'm going to drop down to a mid-scale size now. Hopefully then I will get more building done and less waiting on bricklink orders.
