Doctor Who: The Caverns of Andozini . Hello everyone! I hope you're all enjoying your summer, because I certainly am! Not much, just a continuation of my Doctor Who installments, this time, "The Caverns of Andozini" (free cookie to anyone who can guess the reference.) As usual, thanks for stopping by, and comment if you feel like it. Also, this is my first time doing lights (yupee!). . Great lighting, right? I get all sorts of cool lighting utensils because my dad's an engineer! Without lights. The two figures here are the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon. One side. Other side. Closer look. There's nothing really under the grate other than a hole that leads to the core of the planet, and even if you survive the fall without breaking your head on one of the rocks in the narrow space you'll instantly burn up and die. Enjoy the fall! Cool pile of ancient artifacts. The commander (in case you were wondering, the Doctor isn't alone. The military is investigating the planet as well. Prometheus reference, maybe?) I tried to give it that classic feel by adding the funnily colored and funky looking gizmos and gadgets. For those wondering, the headlight bricks with the trans-blue studs on them are just flashlight boxes. You know, keeping it '60s style. Ouch. I wonder what happened to him... maybe an evil Russian was about to be stopped from completing the Crystal skulls by a Professor of Archaeology with a bull whip, bag, fedora and a knack for adventure... nah, probably not. Another of the Doctor's companions, Victoria. I used to have a crush on her, but then I saw her go from this to, well... I still like her as an actress, but I guess old age cacthes up with all of us. Still, I think she's a fantastic actor, and I really wish she could've been with the Doctor for a few more episodes. Face reference pictures here and here. Sorry about the lighting here. Didn't quite come out as I'd hoped. Goodbye Doctor! See you soon! Bonus pic, because Doctor who used to be shown in black and white, I thought I'd do a b/w styled pic. Notice the cool radio, styled like in the '60s? Boromir? Um... one does not simply walk into the Caverns of Andozini... Extra! For all those who attended Brickfête, I'm so sorry I couldn't show up. You see, my family and I were going on a road trip to America that week. By the time I got there, the line-up was huge, and there was no way I had time to wait for three hours. I think this time I'll be reserving my tickets online. BRICKfête 2013 HERE I COME!!! Also, my first in the series, here. Doctor Who is a trademark of the BBC.
