Ferrari SA Aperta . Okay, this car is my entry to 'Summer cars 2012 contest' which I got inspiration from my calender, which has this car for august. For those who don't know, its basically a convertible version of a Ferrari 599, built to celebrate Pininfarina's 80th birthday. It uses the engine from the 599 GTO. A word of warning, I am totally inexperienced at this scale, and, at the moment, would give myself a 3/5. . I'm afraid at the moment the doors are the only functional part of the car. (Not counting the wheels, obviously) ;D The interior is the only part I'm 100% happy with. This is an entry for the Summer car contest, but if you live in England (as I do) the weather looks like this.. So you'll need a roof! Don't worry, the grey parts on the roof are not because I lack red 1x4s, the real car looks like that! So this is the first car I have ever built specifically for a contest, as this time, I decided I needed to come out of my comfort zone and try building at a larger scale. As I say, I am not really pleased with it, and will hopefully improve it before the deadline of September the first.
