Utility farm tractor . Hey everyone my first MOC of August 2012 is up! I tried a different technique for my photo's. Also this is not the big MOC I've been working on. . This MOCs features are A working interconnected steering wheel and HOG assembly. Steered pendular front suspension. Fake inline 3 engine under the hood, the pistons move when the tractor moves. PTO that spins when the tractor moves. Pneumatically operated 3 point hitch 3 pneumatic switches 2 for the front implement and 1 for the 3 point hitch. 1 Integrated hand pump. Detachable parts A pneumatically actuated front loader. 3point hitch mounted accessories. Box scraper PTO operated mower Tiller thing In the next day or so I'm going to start building a motorized tractor like this. If you've seen my homepage lately I have not given up on my super car I just have a shortage of parts. On to the pictures Right side view. In this shot you can see the interconnected HOG and steering wheel. Right/front view. I added the black weight piece to fill in the emptiness up front. Left/front side view. Not much to say here, moving on. This shot shows the suspension travel. Aaaaw the three point hitch and PTO. The 3 point hitch is actuated by a pneumatic cylinder behind the seat. Attachments Here is the first and simplest attachment a tiller of sorts at it's highest position. The same shot just with the tiller lowered to the ground. The second attachment (this one took longer to build). A working box scraper, my younger brother tested it outside and it makes nice roads in DG (decomposed granite). The box scraper lowered to the ground. My favorite attachment the mower. The mower has two blades that are connected to the PTO which connects to the wheels. The mower lowered to the ground. And last but not least the front loader. This was one of the main reasons this tractor was redone so many times during the design stage. The hardest part was fitting in the auto leveling system. The arm at its highest position with the bucket at its full dumping angle. The single cylinder up front has enough strength and leverage to pick the front wheels up off the ground. Menacing shot of the front bucket. Not really :) A group shot. Background, tractor with the front loader and mower attached. Foreground, tiller and box scraper. As always C&Cs are welcome.
