MocOlympics Round 1: Luna . . Entry for 2012 MocOlympics R1. Category: Dark Side of the Moon Day 26: Been walking on the barren landscape for weeks now. This mission seems almost pointless. Nothing is going to be out there in the far side of the moon. Suddenly, we saw it. A fence. A chain fence. It was old, very old. Expert cratsmanship; it looked like it could never be destroyed. Then, we looked up. And saw it. The reason for the chain fence. A building loomed over us. On the front could be seen one word: Luna. And as we stared at it in disbelief, a strange, dark figure appeared in the doorway. It slowly stepped out of the building. The alien was then completely visible to us. And as we stood there in shock, it spoke. Frightening words, in a hissing voice. "Leave." "Or else." An overview of the entire build. The front of Luna. Landscaping and figs. I used a modified version of LWC guy's Flexible Minifigure technique. The astronauts' poses. Chain fence technique, using plenty of clips. Front electrical details below the alien base "Luna". Side electrical details. Rear electric details. Other side's electric details. Above view of Luna. Laser hinges. Right side of the interior. Left side of the interior. The minifigures lined up.
