M.O. R1: Getting a drink at the Ring of Fire . . Entry for the 2012 MocOlympics, Round 1. Category: Ring of Fire -- First things first, The Link of Utmost Importance. -- THE STORY We know the Ring of Fire as an area where a large number of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean (Thank you Wikipedia) and of course as a song composed by some guy named Johnny Cash . But in the land of Fellaeon the Ring of Fire is known as a place of harsh, unforgiving mountainous terrain that circles around the Western lands. It is a place where the sun burns the landscape and is barely inhabited save for a few animals, bugs and vegetation. It was named the Ring of Fire not because of the brutal conditions of the land but because of those who dominate and make that place their home.....Dragons. It is a place where the Dragons of Fellaeon bring their food, hide their treasure hoards, a place where their young are born, and a sanctuary away from humanity. Seldom do any people venture into the Ring of Fire but for a few dragon slayers, adventurers, hunters and just plain crazy men seeking to uncover its mystery and riches. Some survive and their stories told and immortalized in the castles, halls, taverns and all across Fellaeon. But many do not and their bones serve as a reminder to those who dare enter Ring of Fire. Here we see a brave adventurer near the fabled Spout Rock hoping to get a drink. Unfortunately for him, a young Yellow-Crested Bloodtail got there first and is coolly engaging him in a stare down..... ADDITIONAL PICTURES The Yellow-Crested Bloodtail The Adventurer Spout Rock
