Ontant, the Unfaltering . . Ontant was a Ba-Matoran construction worker outside of a large city; he was content with his job, and had a fairly good life. But one night a few workers went missing; Ontant was concerned and petitioned his foreman to give him the night guard shift. So he waited, and though became tired, still would not leave; and at last his perseverance was rewarded. From over the far wall there came a grumbling; two thin beings slipped over the wall, drawing knives from their belts. They meandered through the shadows towards the main section of the construction site, all but invisible in the dark. Ontant stood up quietly and walked towards his colleagues. Suddenly, as a worker strayed from the group, one of the attackers leapt, whipping his dagger towards the Matoran's head; but instead it found itself stuck within the grip of Ontant, grimly standing, just before the blade was turned around, and an audible crack was heard. Ontant stepped back; the second attacker sprung while the first examined his broken wrist. Nobody knows just what happened after that; the workers went missing, Ontant was found unconscious, and one attacker was captured.
Later rewarded with a Toa Stone for his valor, and subsequently joining a team of other Toa, Ontant saw the world, and for a while he could leave his memories of his own perceived failure behind him.
Alas, for fate was not so kind; Ontant's team was called to fend off attackers at a growing city, and as the smoke rose and the flames grew, the Toa were separated. Ontant found himself facing down one of the raiders, head on, while shielding a Matoran behind his back- the one, as luck (perhaps showing regret for previous misdeeds) would have it, that was told to be the Second Last Hope, the Tenacious. And Ontant stood unfaltering, fending off the blows; but the fire and the opponent overpowered him, and as he fell Ontant let go of the bitterness he had held, his contempt for his own former failure, and with it he shot the raider away like an arrow to the sky. And turning to the Matoran, he released also his power. So while the city, its defenders and attackers alike all burned, this Matoran used his newfound power; his spirit left his body and ascended to the smoky clouds.
And thus passed Ontant, Toa of Gravity.
Another one for the series; only two left.
Clearly this story was not as artistically written as the others, but I was going for a more straight-to-the-point style, while still being at least a little but creative... sort of like Ontant, I guess...? Hahaha. :P
Anyways, tell me what you think of the MOC.
Here's a quick (and kinda grainy) torso construction detail shot:
