MOCC Contest Round Two: The Rogues` Last Stand . Hi all! So, I have made it to round two in this contest, and I have chosen the category "medieval". I have poured huge amounts of time into this build, and I hope the judges like it. So, let's get right to it! . The setting: A band of rogue knights have been wandering for days, struggling just to stay alive. Their very steps are dogged by a group of Lion Knights, meaning they can never stay in one place for long. Eventually, they find an abandoned fortress, and decide to stay there, but then, disaster strikes: the Lion Knights catch up to them, ready for battle. The rogues are forced to use the fort's old defenses to fend of the oncoming assault. Only time will tell who will win in the rogues' last stand.... Onto the pics! Another view. A shot of the landscaping. This has been built in two layers. I must give credit to Matthew Oh for the style of the bottom layer. Sorry Matt, got to get ideas from somewhere ;). The river. For all of you gaping at the medium blue, let's just say thank goodness for the PAB wall at the LEGO Store. The flaming catapult projectile. The tree. Somebody had BETTER comment on this thing, I put a good 45 min into at least. The interior. Did you think this would even have an interior? I hope you did ;). The scene de-figged. The tree by itself. The rogue soldiers. The Lion Knights. The commander of the rogues and the captain of the guard. Last but not least, the path leading to the abandoned fortress. Just to show that I didn't just stand the figs on a bare baseplate. 4th wall: My first one of these! So, one of the major things about this build is the figs: no two share the same headpiece! This is also my first try at landscaping, so I hope everybody likes it. I spent a lot of time on the tree, and I think it is good for a first try as well. Also, before I forget, the link to the competition. Bye!
