Black Mamba II . This might just be the most stupidly awesome car I've ever created with LEGO. As of March 4th, 2013, it's 100% complete with its awesome chrome pipes and engine belts. "Black Mamba II" has been the official name for quite some time, but in my mind it can still be called "Pegasus" or "Thunderhawk". Just saying... . The freaking awesome engine, with some obvious inspiration from Ruud Stam. In the (hopefully) near future, I'll be changing the exhaust pipes to ALL chrome, and then maybe adding some black rubber bands to look like engine belts. I'll be needing eight of these to get the exhaust pipes exactly the way I want them. Update: March 4th, 2013. There's powerful engines. Then there's REALLY powerful engines. Then there's sweet-mother-of-Chuck-Norris-this-thing-could-light-up-a-whole-city engines. Ruud Stam. Enough said. Or, as Bill Cosby would say... "Check out these PIIIIIIIIPES!!" This is the first car I've posted that includes working steering. Yeah, this thing has the turning radius of a star destroyer. But it's better than having no steering at all. Ah, the old suicide door cliche. The interior ain't nothin' to write home about. I tried to warn you. I just realized how bad the visibility would be with this massive engine and a single driver's seat in the center of the car. Genius. Not. The seat design. Because you were totally wanting to know. Dat grille... Is made like dis. Without the engine and spoiler, it's surprisingly smooth. Disassembled into all of its larger components. Early WIP shots. No, just no. The monster that inspired this. And finally, if you'll kindly hit the comments section below, you can vote on which name I should give the car. Here are the names I'm considering: 1. Pegasus 2. Black Mamba II 3. Boomslang 4. Thunder[something] (think of something cool that should come after thunder) 5. The Even Darker Knight 6. The Even Darker Knight Rises Some More Yeah, I'm only kidding about those last two. But the voting will end on November 30th, and as always, thanks for looking!
