LUCAS class Dreadnought . The LUCAS class vessels stand for: Long range Unsupported Capital Assault Ship. I built this for my son and as such, have decided to name the ship after him. As you can see, I have drawn heavily from Soren Robert's fantastic creation - I just couldn't keep my eyes off it... The LUCAS class dreadnoughts are stand-alone vessels, a one-ship force of nature. It is designed to go toe to toe with a battle group...and survive. It's main objectives are the elimination of the enemy's heart of the battlegroup - their supercarriers. As the name implies, she is capable of conducting her mission without any support if necessary - being armed to the teeth, with 2 fighter wings to embarrass any light carrier and 4 trans-warp engines with enough propulsive force for any ship twice her mass. Mix it all up into a single hull and you get pain staring down your alley... .
