Woman in Red ('57 Chevy Bel Air Convertible and instructions) . I've wanted to do a classic Chevy for some time now & of course it has to be a '57 Bel Air. I've always had a soft spot for the Nomads (especially after some guy in my neighborhood finished restoring his) and I thought a '57 Nomad would be a good way to start, from that I've made this one. This is one of the largest builds I've ever undertaken, the final dimensions are: 60L, 26W, 14H and 2080 pieces! This is part of my "Open 57 Project", that means you can download the LDD instructions for this Moc FOR FREE. Eventually there will be a '57 Bel Air Convertible, '57 Bel Air coupe, '57 Bel Air Gasser and a '57 Nomad. Using the Nomad as the base for each of these and (if you've got the pieces) it's your's to build! I've probably used more pieces then what was needed to achieve the aesthetics (looks) but I wanted this to be a stable and solidly made model. . As you can see in this pic, everything opens, the glove box too just like the Nomad There is a Chevy badge on the back of this but not on the front. But if you want to put on on the front you can :) Lots of butte space Moving pedals and tilt adjustable steering wheel, also visors and a rear-view mirror In each '57 Chevy there will be a different engine. In here you'll find a twin-carb 350Ci engine (Blue Motor) You can almost imagine this cruising down Sunset Boulevard... if it were made out of Lego The "divot" in the door was tricky to put in, but I think I nailed it... Int front of this '57 Bel Air you'll find bench seats, but, if you want buckets, I'll be uploading instructions for just the seats (and engines)as soon as I can. I went with a red-on-white interior, you know... something classicI know that putting my design online for everyone to download leaves it open to criticism but, it's solidly designed, looks the part and FREE!Please rate and comment, thanks.
