The Chapel, Tigelfáh Castle . CCCX Medieval Architectural Detail Tigelfáh Castle was built shortly after the conquest by the 1st Earl of Léonas. Within the castle complex the Earl had his own private chapel built. The snow has fallen outside and soon the men will be off to war. Lady Emeline Léonas goes to the chapel to petition with God for the safe keeping of her husband and sons: "O Lord our Father, our young and old will soon go forth to battle, be Thou near them! Help them to cover their enemies smiling fields with the pale forms of their dead. For our sakes, who adore Thee, Lord, blight our enemies lives, water their way with their tears. Protect our men in travel and battle. Be thou with our widows in their unavailing grief. We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.” Many similar prayers will be said over the months but many wives. .
