4X4 Rally Truck (for LEGO Technic Competition) . This is my design for the 2012 LEGO Technic competition, which aims to modify the body of the 4X4 Crawler. It has a couple of cool features including spring loaded gullwing doors and a hard top that can be raised. Please show your support by clicking on the link at the bottom (below the last picture) and voting for it on the LEGO website if you like it! Thanks!!! . Headlights! Side profile. I changed the rims to the grey ones of the Unimog as they suit this colour scheme better. The gullwing doors are spring loaded and can pop open when you lift them! Notice the springs connected to the doors on the top right picture. The yellow beams are "structural members" used to stiffen the body like in many rally cars. Top view. The red and grey scheme runs throughout the length of the truck. The rear hardtop can be raised by opening the trunk, pulling up the hardtop, raising the hardtop stand, and closing the trunk. Useful for increasing storage space at the back! Rear lights. If you like my design, please support by clicking this and voting at the LEGO website: Support My Design! Thanks!!!
