Imperial Walker Assault . . Welcome to LukeClarenceVan: The Squad Based Tactical Star Wars Game. In it, you command LukeClarenceVan and his mercenary squad as they complete jobs for various clients. This screen shot shows them attacking a prototype Imperial Walker for the thinly stretched Rebellion. This is my entry for the "Like a Boss" contest from The Brothers Brick. The base and walker without the HUD and health bar. (Sorry about the rubbish background, I was tired of photo editing after making the main picture.) A Stormtrooper sets up his sniper position to defend his garrison. A few Stormtroopers hope that hiding behind the walker will keep them safe. Little do they know that no where is safe from LukeClarenceVan... A couple of snipers aim down from the balcony. The walker's command module. I had a much larger one planned, but due to its weight I had to re-build. This one's a bit less impressive, but I think it's more menacing. The blaster cannons. The legs. These things are a real pain, I have no idea how mech builders can build such huge things without the legs snapping. Heck, I had trouble making these even support the shrunken cockpit! A member of the squad prepares to ambush any incoming Stormtroopers. I was playing with the ice-cream smoke effect and discovered that microphones fit nicely into their bases. Instant RPG! A muddy pool. It was fun experimenting with all my shades of brown here. I've been re-reading the Star Wars Republic Commando series, so naturally I had to build some Cip-Quads. (Albeit smaller versions than those used by the ARCs.) The whole thing one last time. Thanks for viewing, and all the best in the new year!
