Bangkok Tuk-Tuk . Tuk-Tuks are used as taxis in some countries, including Thailand. I was inspired to build one after seeing so many of them on the roads in Bangkok. This was a very fun build as I seldom get to mix so many colours in one creation! . Front wheel steers like a motorcycle's, and is directly coupled to the handlebars. It was quite challenging to get this right as I didn't want it to look too chunky and interfere with the blue parts around it. Trailing arm suspension for the rear wheels. Quite a challenge to cram it into such a small space! The grey top cylinders of the suspensions blend in with the grey liftarms of the rear cabin floor. Rear wheels drive a couple of bevel gears, connected to a universal joint which drives the white 'fan' beside the red bricks (which is supposed to be the engine block). Driver seat, with handlebars, gear shifter between his legs (dangerous design), battery (white brick with 3 red dots on top). When the Tuk-Tuk moves, the white fan below the driver seat will spin, which actually looks pretty nice to me. I am very fond of this feature! Front view. Side view. Rear view. Picture of an actual Tuk-Tuk in Bangkok.
