Tron - the GRID . Clutch Builders - 9. Not-so-lame excuse! . MOCathalon 2013 Group: Clutch Builders Category: "9. Not-so-lame excuse!" Teacher: Simon - why are you late? Simon: I was doing my homework on the computer when all the sudden this crazy blue laser shot me. Then I was in this Grid thing. And there were these super hot girls that put this armour on, and I was driving this bike... then this crazy red ship that swooped in and was all like PEW PEW PWE And things would de-rez. But I got the discs and ... Teacher: I've heard Enough. I'll give you an A+ for creativity.. And a F for Science. -- Here's a shot under normal-sh lighting: Edit: A few people asked if how I lit this / if blacklights were used: The answer is yes, I had a blacklight, but that ONLY makes the Neon-Orange glow. The trans light blue is NOT reactive to black light - so how'd I do it? The traditional way - Using a light behind the build. So all areas that light up are completely hollow/clear underneath so that I can position lights to point outwards towards the camera. Note that this was a 25s exposure to get the lights to really pop out.
