The World is Black, The World is White | 2013 MOCAthalon: Black and White . . The Extra Pieces 2013 MOCAthalon Black & White: Create a moc that uses two and only two different Lego colors. It's better with the music, trust me. The globe opens up and reveals the word "Hope" suggesting there is still a chance for everyone to get along. The world is the only place we can call home for now, we might as well work together to make it a better place. Continents The squiggled mass of Europe Asia and sub-continent India Assuie World and Kiwiland Africa South America North America Antartica And who could forget our friend Hawaii? Commentary: Three Dog Night's "Black & White" was always the inspiration for this build, and also I love the song so much. (70's music all the way.) I really wanted to take a very literal approach on the category, too. Although it said any two colors, the song helps the build work. I guess it could have been "The world is red, the world is blue ... The child is red, the child is blue..." but that would have just been weird. It was also worth the challenge to sort all of my black and white into respective parts. I mean, how else would I have learned I am low on 1x1 plates? Thanks to Allan Bedford for writing The Unoffocial Lego Builder's Guide for the basic sphere design and also the 1:1 brick paper. Thanks for viewing, and don't forget to rate and comment.
