A lidless eye, surrounded by flames . Long ways to go yet - Vol. III . The topmost tower of Barad-dr - fortress of Sauron! One third of the tower is with this section completed. The most challenging so far - for example the spires, the eye or basically all of it. But on the other side it is the most remarkable, represantative part of the tower! (Maybe caused by the fact that it is nearly the only part you see here and there in the movies) I decided to alter the pictures in B&W (with eception of the great eye), to make the appeareance of the tower in the pictures more pleasing for the eye and to contrast it, regarding the background. Since the tower is just black this works obviously quite well. Comparison: Comparison with me (1,86m tall) and top-section (78,5 cm) to give an impression of scale and size of the growing beast. Followed by a comparison between the first tower (back in '11) and the actual one: I recommend this for another comparison: Barad-dr (It's not the original bigiature used for the movies but a replica basing on the bigiature and the most accurate) Till next time, followers of the Dark Lord ;-) - K.
