Mighty Morphin' Lego Rangers: Alpha 5 . "Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi!!" . Howdy folks. Today I bring to you another Power Rangers Lego creation, this time the Rangers' robotic helper, Alpha! This MOC was heavily inspired by the TMNT MOCs posted by boyzwiththemosttoyz. Displaying some articulation. Being sort of a chibi model, Alpha has no elbow or knee joints, but his hips and shoulders are just as pose-able as the Ranger models. Shoulder articulation. I also gave him the ability to turn at the waist. It's a bit high, yes, but he's a robot. His anatomy doesn't have to make sense. I used a 'tap' piece for the shoulders, rather than a t-joint. It has the same range of motion, but I think here the tap looks a little more 'roboty.' It also seems to hold his shoulder pads (minifig life jackets) on better than the t-joint did. Thanks for the visit! Finals have begun, so this will probably be the last MOC I post for a couple of weeks, but more Rangers are coming, I promise.
