Excavator Transport Rail Car . A simple flatcar conversion for the Excavator Transport set. . Nacho Enterprises Railway System (NERS) presents a rail car conversion for the Excavator Transport set 4203. This came about when I saw the set and instantly realized that it would work perfectly for a freight train. Since I do not have a freight train yet, this will most likely be my first freight car MOC. Enjoy! For those with spare train parts in their collection, such as wheel assemblies, bogies, and couplers, this is an easy conversion. Another view of the transport without the excavator. A side view. With the excavator. Another view with the excavator. *Twitch's Remarks* Here is a MOC to show you that I am still alive and kicking. Sure, this is a very simple MOC and it is not that hard to do. However, I think that the concept behind it is important. The ability to look at something and see what it could be is very important. I saw the Mining sets and have thought about how they could be incorporated into the train world. My original idea was just to have a train with a bunch of open hopper cars pull up to The Mine and get loaded up. However, that idea seemed dull and needed some flair. This is the first part of that solution. I hope that you enjoy, and please feel free to rate and comment!
