A collection of Tumblers . Not another Tumbler!!! . What's the plural of Tumblers? It's been a while since I posted and, in fact, done anything with Lego but recently we got the Dark Knight Rises Bat and Tumbler set and it got my creative juices flowing. I was really disappointed with the new minifig scale Tumbler that I decided to have a go at something that would look better and still be playable, and this is what I've come up with. My previous Tumbler was very functional and I was very happy with it's overall look but it was a tad oversized when it came to minifigs. The collection you see here have pretty much no functions apart from opening cockpits and on the gunner the gun turret rotates, but they are quite robust and very playable as both my boys have put them through their paces. I started with the black tumbler and transposed the design for the camouflage variants. One big problem I found is that a few of the black Lego components just do not exist in tan or brown so a few minor alterations had to be made. Each of these Tumblers will seat 2 minifigs quite comfortably and the black one has a batarang holder. All in all though I'm pleased with the results and I hope you enjoy looking. A picture to show the comparison between my Tumbler and the official Lego one. The interior of the gunner and looks like Poison Ivy has offered to give Bane a hand for old times sake. Each Tumbler comprises of 5 main parts which makes it quite easy to assemble. The Gunner is slightly different but it still follows this 5 part pattern. I can put together some more in depth instructions and parts list if anyone is interested. Just let me know in the comments. Thank you for looking.
