Dark Angel: Ascension . After almost ten months since I last updated him, here is the brand-spanking new Terilis. . Bio Name: Terilis Race: Toa Element: Electricity Mask: Modified Kanohi Komau, Mask of Mind Control. Scope with telescopic vision grafted into the Komau. Equipment: Gateway Scythe, Shuriken Attributes: A halo is magnetically fixed in place above his head, and remains almost completely static. It may begin to rotate if Terilis uses large quantities of electromagnetic power. The speed of the rotation depends on the level of electromagnetic output. Two exposed joints behind his shoulders can attach to artificial wings, however, Terilis does not currently have an efficient pair of artificial wings. PA: Terilis can be shy around new people, and is uncomfortable in a setting where he knows no one. However, with just one friend or trusted colleague he becomes very active and social. He avoids questions about his halo or where he is from, and is lacking in knowledge of standard customs among either the Agori or Matoran. Theme The Scythe has been updated as well, it now has a much more mechanical look and feel, and has no blue in the parts usage. The Scythe had a better part in the handle that flowed into the technic connectors, but it was needed elsewhere. Also, it is not a 'phantom' scythe anymore. It's basically a key for certain gateways. That's strange, I can't find the Shuriken anywhere... Eh, oh well. An Inika comparison with MIM. I made him shorter now, his previous form was MUCH too tall. I didn't take these next few pictures in any particularly specific sequence, just whatever came into my mind. The halo technique. I found this particular connection just the other day, and I just about leaped out of my skin when I figured out how I could use it for a halo. Feel free to use it for anything else, just give credit where it is due. And if you happen to have already found this connection/design involving multiple Exo-Force robot arms, then I swear to high heaven I have never seen this design before. Again, apologies for camera quality. The back-side is much better now, as well as more armored(especially on the upper back and lower legs). A much clearer image of the upper back. The feels X) Terilis has had these details in his lower legs since the end of last year, just not the exact design. I really do love that grill in there. The leg design was unstable, but after I made a last minute update at the end of the picture taking process, they are so much more stable now. And all I had to do was flip these gray technic axles around. The back of the lower legs. Very well armored, and still quite flexible. The foot is hardly constrained in it's socket, as the armor on the front flaps up and down just enough for good movement in the front. The back, sadly, does not have so much movement. Probably my favorite part of the whole Moc(aside from the GORGEOUS custom mask) is here, on the chest. No, the light at the base of the armor is not his heartlight, it is underneath the armor(which I sadly neglected to take a photo of). The shoulders are included in my favoritism. Terilis: I also use a new font for whenever I speak n- huh? ???: Hey! When do I get a turn!?!? Terilis: Oh, right! Sorry little friend. Terilis: Guys, this is my first truly successful chibi Moc, which is of course of myself. I call him Chibiris. Chibiris: Thanks for the acknowledgement. Sure took you long enough. Terilis: He isn't an exact copy of me personality-wise. For one, he's a mite more excitable... Chibiris: OI! What do you mean excitable?! We're practically identical! Chibiris: Idiot! Terilis: AUGH!! *flop* Chibiris: Next thing you know he'll be saying that I'm excessively violent or something like that. What a jerk! Chibiris: Now give me that back! We only have one you know, and how else will I get to make Mim suffer today? *grumblegripemuttermutter...* . . . Well, I guess we know where the Shuriken went, don't we? *Grunt* Terilis: Agh, that wasn't pleasant. In truth, it doesn't hurt that bad, since it channels electric currents as it's primary offensive, and I'm a Toa of Electricity, so... ungh... Terilis: Rate and coment and stuff... oh, I need to lie down... Chibiris: What a wimp, am I right? Breaking the fourth wall: The reason I chose Ascension as a subtitle is because I truly believe my skills are improving, and Terilis shows it. I realized what I could do to make Terilis look so much better with my current skill set, that being his height, his shoulder width, and his overall thickness. I still think he looks relatively thin, just in addition he looks well armored at the same time. Before any of you ask, no, I did not make the mask. I did request the mask however, so I did have the initial idea of attaching the Akaku scope to a Komau. I like to call it a Komaku. Anyway, the guy who did do it is none other but the man in charge of Modalt Masks, Mr. Cod. You can check him out if you want your own custom mask if you want, but this is just so you guys don't post a bunch of comments about it.Unless you have a legit question, don't be stupid B1 . Feedback is appreciated, goodbye and happy building! Ah... looks like Chibiris found Mim...
