Alaskan Republic "Falcon" fighter and hanger . My air defensive power for Decisive action. . When the "Falcon" VTOL interceptor was developed, it was put into service in a unique scheme: rather than being based at centralized air bases, its hangers were designed to be spread out across Alaska, making it almost impossible to ever destroy them all at once. In this overhead shot, a "Falcon" has taxied onto the landing pad and is preparing to depart on a sortie. In this photo, the "Falcon" is in its hanger, being serviced by the ground crew. This picture shows the bunkhouse/traffic control shed. Here, Lieutenant Watkins is leading in some of his famed "wolves" for resupplying. The "Falcon" parked in the snow near the base. This front view shows some of the specialized features for cold weather operation, including a ski on the front landing gear, a parka in the left side of the cockpit for emergencies, and a mug of hot coffee on the console for the pilot. The "Falcon" being serviced. This picture shows the thunderous J-5 turbine the "Falcon" flies with. For those who've never heard of Decisive Action, it is a war game group on MOCpages in which the players build certain military assets, then have them ranked by other users. The more ratings a vehicle has on MOCpages, the better it performs in Decisive Action. So, if you like this, give it a rating. Even if you think it's bad, give it a rating. Thank you!
