Hot Rod - 31006 Creator Alternate . . This is what I intended to build when I build the Street Rod alternate, After disassembling the rear section of the Street Rod and finding a working solution for the sides of the car it didn't take too long before the basis of what you see on this page was formed. After that it all came down to the details to add just that little bit of extra wow to it. Oh I nearly forgot to mention, As it unfortunatly doesn't show in the photo's. But both the front and rear wheels aren't fully connected to the axles, And when viewed from the front you'll notice that the rear wheels are wider then the front wheels to create a typical Hot Rod look Pictures aren't great but it's the best I could for now, I will retake them as soon as I complete my (mini)studio setup. Build with a roof: But also intended to be a convertible: Here the rear-view mirrors that are attached to the roof are re-used to fill the gaps were the bricks supporting the roof used to be, This is because the roof supporting bricks are the ones with a Technic Pin-hole in them and they looked a bit odd. Besides that, This solution gives it a more streamlined look. Interior: And here it is again with the roof, But without the rear-view mirrors attached: I'm still undecided on what looks best as I like it both ways.
