Koi Carp . Koi Carp . Hello people. It's been a while since I posted and I have something a bit different from my usual to present to you. Here is a Lego Koi Carp that I've built for my friend as his birthday present. He's a big Koi Carp fan and in his pond he has some of the largest Koi Carp I have ever seen. As a starting point for this build I took inspiration from DeTomaso Pantera's fantastic Albert the Albatross. A bit weird as an Albatross is a bird and not a fish but I really liked how he had got the shaping for the body and I kind of pinched his idea and adapted it for the body of this Koi (Hope that's ok? DeTomaso). The rest of the build flowed from there and here it is. Hope you enjoy it. The yellow tile in his mouth is Lego fish food. Featured in Koi Carp Magazine November 2013
