Blast Off! . . A new era requires a new satellite launch facility. Bigger, better, faster. Built with LEGO. This is my satellite launch facility MOC for Decisive Action, a creation five weeks in the making and one of my largest and most complex builds to date. The rocket blasts off to deliver its payload of spygear into outer space. Rockwork's always fun, especially in microscale. An observatory for, well, observing. Some rivers add a touch of nature to the landscape. I love those trans-medium blue grills, though I underestimated my collection and had to order a few (hundred) more for this project. A few evergreens fail to live up to their name after numerous fiery launches stripped them of their pines. A helicopter bay built into the rocks, I felt like Blofeld while building this... More rockwork! Another shot of the rocket. The lift off explosion turned out surprisingly well, it was fun using some of the weirder trans parts like crystals and asteroids. Remnants of a less successful launch... Let me assure you that all current missions meet safety code D3e768. A patrol vessel guards the coast from bacon thieving bandits and mad scientists. A three-point forced perspective shot. Yeah! The whole shebang. Thanks for stopping by, and if you want to help in my Decisive Action battle, leave a like or comment! (Yeah, it kills me to say that too.)
