S-5 Satellite Launch Facility . For those of you wondering "how does the UTA get satellites into the air?" this, this is how we do it. . Defended by a classified number of lasers, missiles, and AA guns, plus feet of titanium alloys, carbon nanotubes, carbon fiber, and classified armor system, the S-5 facility is one of the most secure places in the UTA. The doors could really open (I did the math okay) in real bricks. Opening them in LDD would be painful. On the left is the vehicle repair bay and on the left is mission control. Mission control without the roof, I added seats and monitors for operators. Roof of the vehicle repair bay, lasers, communications equipment, and lights. The crawler thing, based on NASAs. The nanofigure is for scale. Launch site, fuel lines, RADAR domes, and lots of defenses cover the area. This whole build was inspired by the "Blast off" moc. No where near the same quality, but the same idea. The rocket itself. UTA pride colors. Fins and boosters rotate to give the rocket plenty of control during launch. The grey rocket is the anti-satellite version. Loaded with a kinetic warhead to kill enemy satellites. Prototype VS-2 satellite. None have been deployed thus far. Once again one of my mocs reaches "Everyone's lego creations". Thanks to everyone who has helped them to get there. Thanks for viewing, please rate and comment.
