M.O. round 1: The Twin Bridge of the Elements . . For the 2013MocOlympics. Category: The 12 Signs of the Zodiac. I chose the sign of Gemini (the twins). ~ There were once two twin brothers - sons of the great Ninja warrior of Ice and Wind - who mastered the elements of water and fire. They dwell on twin mountains that coincide with their elements in the middle of a peaceful sea. Between the two mountains is what they call the Twin Bridge of the Elements. ~ Let's look at the left mountain first. Here we have the actual symbol of Gemini. The waterfall. The mountain brings the water from the sea and pours it back as an everlasting waterfall. The water inside the mountain. View from the other side going towards the waterfall. The top of the everlasting waterfall. If you unlock its secrets, you will gain the power of the water blade. It lifts... ...and spins around... ...because of a technic pin that is underneath the ground surface. Just lift and spin to move the platform. More scenery. Now to cross The Twin Bridge of the Elements. I love my cool bridge design! First, the volcano. The lava falls back into the rock, but you can see the lava falling here. The second physical symbol. Scenery. This spins! So does this! ...are you getting dizzy? (these following four pictures shows the rotation, feel free to just zoom by them) Yeah, more rocks. What's this? A secret cave holding treasures and a special key! (the key is used to unlock the fire blade) The Twins and their father. I think that their staffs and double blades are just boss! ~FNJ's Comments: This was quite the challenge! Tons of rock work that were slightly curved...that was not so fun. I liked making all of the functions work and settle right, and I really liked the category I chose. We have twin mountains, twin falls, the twin symbols on either side of the bridge, two twins with opposite yet similar elements, and twin costumes (differing colors of course). I enjoyed using a bunch of different techniques for things; the new bridge technique that I came up with being my favorite (I am not aware if someone else did it first, I did not copy from anywhere). I had tons of fun building, and I hope you enjoyed the creation as much as I did building it! Thanks for looking, God bless! David the Fire Ninja Jedi
