The Squalo II from GTA VC . "The fastest boat" from Grand Theft Auto Vice City complete with Tommy Vercetti Minifigure. It even has secret compartments for "fishing gear." . Dry-dock (how it was built): I have been planning on building this boat for a long time. From the first time I played GTA Vice City I considered it the coolest boat I had ever seen. I originally thought about just using a stock LEGO boat bottom, but realized that I would have to put stickers on it to get the color I wanted, and none of them were the right shape ether. I’m still very surprised that I found all the parts I needed (I didn’t have to order any!) as well as the fact that I built the whole thing in less than 7 hours. The one part I did have to order stuff for was the Minifig, I actully built Tommy Vercetti weeks before I started the boat. Special thanks to my friend Callan for coming up with the spoiler design! About the boat: The Squalo II (just called Squalo in the game, although it says II on the side) was first introduced in the Vice City mission “The Fastest Boat.” Latter it becomes available to the player by buying the boatyard and completing the mission “Checkpoint Charley.” I tried to be very accurate to the look of the boat in the game, and it came out very well. It has two powerful engines that can outrun anything. That, along with a very light plastic (what else would LEGO be?) hull allow it to basically skim right along the top of the water. Pictures: ”Tommy Vercetti, remember the name!” I’m pretty happy with how the Minifig came out. Origonally I used an Indiana Jones head but soon realized that he looked much better with a yellow tan. The shirt isn’t quite the right color, but it is the closest I could find in LEGO. The hair though is perfect! Storage Compartments: The Squalo II also features secret compartments for your “fishing gear.” The suitcases Tommy is unloading contain special bait that is flower based…
