Atritian Life-Support Lightship - "Siaron" 4.3 Class . Classical Atritian defensive tactic is their ability to never been found by enemy. It means that their ships land on known planets very rarely. In other words, they had to become adepts in terms of recycling resources, generating energy from stars, even producing their own food, fabric, metal and oxygen. This ships purpose is exactly this. It has many implode cores to produce and store immense amount o energy. Food is produced by special plants developed by Illirin magic that can constantly produce vast amounts of food that has all nutrients in right composition and ratios. It is not very tasty, but also real food is produced here by cosmic chicken farms and plant orchards. "Praying towers" there are vastly uprgraded and since that they can continuosly producing energy. Most of space inside is occupied by life support stasis tubes, that serve as bed, hygienic machine and medical facility and it can house about 30 astronauts. Also, special telepathic towers are added to enable astronauts to control other ships in its fleet without even leaving ship. In real life, I am quite exhausted with making this large ships.Again, this one was made by my new metod of fusing ship from two files, one with external and one with internal contains mounted on identical framework. It took me about week to make this ship, but i was ill and since that I could work whole day on it. Normally it take month to make such ship. I think I will take some rest from this, because my headache is constant from being at computer all the time. Unluckily, I was not able to make details of ships framework. It would show that this ship can actually hold together also if it was from real bricks. . Another Siaron ... yes, it may be boring but I decided to put my most effort in model that occupied my mind the longest. I feel my fleet is incomplete without these mysterious giants. But headache is quite annoying an I will have to pull back for a while. But I need to say that every Siaron is different in some way and they tend to be bearers of my evolution. Morph note – nodal trunk : As you see, trunk is far away from tradiotonal wide fish-like design. Instead, it is composed by cylindircal segments that required a lot more work on all their parts, especially on their walls. Nodes are connected by sleder but tight connections forming spine-like elements. I will describe them closer later. Rough look of this ship is caused by lack of plating on wing elements. Silvery gray network is ships skelet that bears both internal and external parts. Facing limited capacity of my CPU I decided to leave many interna parts exposed to both contarst with very plated main trunk ,show detail thato would be otherwise hidden and thirdly to spare some file capacity for other things. I choosed dark space background to not even be temathical to spaceships, but to apply more contrast to my silvery designs. I want to give a credit to Michael K. to that idea :D Tech note – roof part as wall elemens : Between dark silvery skeleton you can see vertical segments from roof bricks. I have found them convenient for platting for several reasons. As they are always purely parallel with vertical beams which hold them, it never cross space between roof and floor that can purely belong to internal „oragns“ of ship. They are held by 2x2 plate with vertical snap. Morph note – tentacle skirt and gown : In slovakian language things have often not neutral gender. Ship is „she“ in slovak , an by often giving them Arthanis name which is also femine I somehow started to think on their „personality“ to be feminine. So I gave them slender tentacles to look like some cloak and triple pelvis got more tough tentacles to form something like „skirt“. After all, this is MOTHERship :D Nice picture of general proportions of ship. Next pictures are taken from „internal version of ship“. In other words, part with contains of halls, wings and tentacles also with complete skelet. You can see absence of almost all head parts as well as no towers on engines. All of them are mounted on that flat areas atop and beyound nodes. Ventral aspect. Note the same flat areas on ships thorax, this time they wait for engines to be mounted on them. „Detail" of contains of wing elements. Note that typical triangular plates are aboslutely absent in this ship, because I fould them quite crude in this stade of Siarons evolution, but I plan to incporporate them again as soon I found some new usage for them. Ship is still Siaron. You can see triple thorax and triple pelvis as well as cross towers. Probably the best picture showing how slender this ship really is. Its spine is only 6 stud wide, with total 150 ships width and about 320 lenght whole design seems utterly fragile. Later I ll shos how i prevented this design from falling apart – I am trying to make all my ships buildable also in ABS, but I dont add LDD files in order to protect my designs from being stolen. Morph note – vertical towers : Originally their idea came from Illirin flagship Theia 2.2. Their purpose is to visually replace vertical wings that I used on earlier Siarons. As I said, I plan retrurn them into their purpose but I dont know how yet. You can see whole cross tower on front of shis picture. If you see closer, you can see an officer in blue tube as well as farm tube with plants to feed the astronaut. Above and beyound him are cahes with computer cores. I ll explain their role later. Tail detail. Dark green bricks shining on this pic are parts of my new design, bio-generators. There are 15 on them on ship and by containg very evolved algae they produce bio-mass to feed and clothe asotrnauts, oxygen to enable them to breathe and they recycle ships organic waste. During endless journey in space not a chunk of filth can be wasted. Here are some pics of „external ship“ parts. It looks better than internal ship, but I must say that interior and framework is always the toughest part of construction. Maybe bigger parts of yuo would not agree, but i think that details are quite overrated on MOCpages. Missing plating. Ventral aspect showing engine arrays. Here come detailed pictures of most parts of ship. Yes, many of them are repeating, but it can be kind of lower art to arrange them properly. As cells in histological section looks all the same, but their arrangement is what tells the patologist their message. Most basic tower detail. Those trans parts interceptin collumns are in fact facet bricks that are often used on castle battlements. I try to emulate flower leafs with them in my designs. Bigger tower. Note similiar cockpit bearers on its corners, I added them to make some unifying part common for all the towers. On towers foundings there are Polaris emleme from trans violet plates. Third type of tower. It has actually a small room inside with seats and consoles for four men. It has a role of „dreaming boxes“ in ships of II and III generation that enables astronauts and more noteably Phantoms to belnd with ships AI and constatly uprgrade them. Dreaming box is changed into collumn made from computer consoles. Main tower, aside from other towers there is just one copy in whole ship. It has its own interior and it serves as a temple for Atritian astronauts. Atrirtian religion i similliar to Christianity, but they call God by His atributes, as Love, Truth, Reason, Mind, Justice and so on ... and his name is Bleeding One. Another Polaris embleme I forgot to arrange some ornaments here, but then I realised I concieved Atritian temples as large cathedrals with labyrint-like shape with plenty of rooms to sit and think, as their religion is based on thinking. Atritian Holy Books are fragment of Bible, but Atritians are somwhat cursed to not know its whole meanings, so other nations loathe them as people that dont know what they are believing in. Whole Atritian history is filled by searching of meaning of life and all around, and their lack of knowledge is what drives Atritian crazy even in times of their greates victories .... they can control matter and energy and have them most powerful magic, but it is nothing in comparing to know what is life about .... Big light bulb symbolising God. Tentacle contains. They are similiar with those on Apries 3.1. (ShipYard Crusier) and literally, their function is to repair „injured“ ships around. Detail of tentacle framework. Note that errorously there are some bricks missing. Whole joints must be made of at least two fixed joints to prevent torsion on tentacle. It was meant to stay in one plane. Second reason for this tech choice is to make it stronger. Idea note – teleportation luggage vault : they look very simple because I had to make them small enough to becntained in connective segemnts of wing elements (those with two green semi-archs). Due to its extreme complex design,ship has enormous surface with ridiculously few room inside. Those areas were the only ones with some dead space. Items stored in them are the most reccycled materials in this ship – energy crystals (green for energy store , blue information stores and violet one EMP computers) , translucent cones to modify guns service (with same colour meanings), even some guns and bottles with some drink. Other bottles contain oxygen. Vaults with astronauts personal possesions. When lost in vast space, some reminder of your family waiting for you can be useful ... A series of pics from ships most detailed part, great halls. They are situated in centre of thorax and beside temple it is one of few entertational places in the ship. Center hall detail. You can see four astronauts sitting behind computers and, in facts, this si ships bridge. Small hall with enormous throne for ships captain.He spends most of time interacting with ship and since that he needs al the comfort to do it. Guarded entrance in the main hall. Its levers and monitors are control room for acitvating forcefield and even spells to prevent enemy infiltration of ship. Great hall detail. It is situated right behind head and it is dining room and entertainmen facility in one room. You can see guy with long white hair is in high risk for pouring his drink into his laptop ... Big clyinders with items are warp niches that contain items that astronauts recalled from stores in wing elements. Detail of „eyes“ of ship. IN contrast to previous Siarons, this is not a ships main weapon but cockpit in fact. These guys sit in „eyes“ of ship ... Engines are my least favorite part of ships to create. But I really tried to make them look both functional and ellegant by arranging them into some kind of ornament. Engine arrays are adapted for rapid change of movement. They contain both hoevrcraft ones and maneuvering ones that can both rotate and hinge. Siarons are well known for their surprisngly good maneuverability. Even with their monstruos size, they can effectively evade most of anti-flaghisp cannons of enemy that are designed to destroy the biggest ships. Other than such cannons cannot harm Siarons. My buddy Commander Cold asked me for sig-fig, so here it is :D I as real person have long hair which i wear straight and down. Also I am metal solo guitarist and despite I prefer superstrat guitar design, this one is most convenient to my style :D Also, I prefer more strings (I play both svenstring and twelve string) and I love three humbuckers together :D As for Atritians, they look like this guy ... hair long to waist, wearing combination of armor and long robe with cloak. Computer cores of ship. I wanted them be fitting into Atritian style, so I arranged them like stars. They are situated above lateral halls. I really wanted to show them all because they have much beds and serve like bedrooms, but I was not able to do any delete-action to shoew them. My CPU immediately dropped anytime i tried to ... Implode core detail. They aresituated in both pelvic and thoracic wings, always laterlaly from bio-vaults. Green bricks in this core contain most developed algae that Illlirin (as vegetation controlling mages) could offer to Atritians to supply temselves with both food and tabric. In blue bricks there is classic iplode core that supply ship but also algae with constant flow of energy. Energy store core. Bed and toilet detail. Cannon detail. On this ships I combine smaller and older Atritian cannons with these better looking ones. Their only disatvatage was their height, they messed with slender tntacles above ship wings. One cannon has cone-ended shooters that destroy ships on closer distance, theother one has antenna looking ones to better target distant ships. Details on crew tubes on telepatic towers. They serve as additional crew for ships that are distant from this one and needs urgent piloting in case that ship is attacked when its crew has changing moment. In space battle, even seconds matter. Detail on telepathic tower. Note bio tube on lateral side with chicken farm :D Plant farm detail. Now you can see how this framework is complicated,. Literally it occupies one third of file capacity. At least some bedroom hall details could be made. Here you can see wardrobe and toilet. Ships „spine“. It has mechanisms o prevent deattachment of vertical beams as well as breaking of skeleton of ship. Ventral aspect of „internal ship“. I want to credit cyberfrank2010 for very important question about ships framework. He wrote that ships framework could not handle ships weight. It is true when you see only "external ship". In fact, after realizing frameworks fragility I added additional support particles to hold cross hulls and main hull together. Because CPU lagged, I forgot to add them into "external ship" file. In fact, I also had to delete some parts on the framework to be able to complete "external" ship. Some „external ship details. Thank you for watching :D
