The Legends of King Arthur . . "Who goes there?" "I am Arthur, King of the Britons." First of all, if you don't like seeing "blood" on mocs, skip the pictures of the top level. This was a school project in order to get a four in History. The topic was European Heraldry, and one of the things we could choose to do our project on was the Legends of King Arthur I made this nice King Arthur story tower. Just so that you don't take half an hour to read this (which is how long I took for my presentation), I will only put a quote under the picture of each level. Those of you not familiar with King Arthur should probably learn about the story first and read a good book about it, because this might spoil it for you… Though you can still enjoy the pictures without reading the quotes. Anyways, on to the pictures… "Who sough pulleth out this sword from stone and anvil is right-wise born King of England" "The sword… Excalibur." "It was forged in Avalon by an ancient people. Words of great power were spoken over it as it was forged.. No one can resist it's blow." "The holy grail. It is a thing of unspeakable power." "Only three shall see it. Galahad, finder of the Grail, Parcifal, protector of the Grail, and Boors, who goes to tell the world of the Grail's wonders." "Lancelot, father of Galahad, who sees it in a dream." King Arthur and his most worthy knight, Lancelot, jousting in front of Lancelot's Castle, Joyous-guard, over Arthur's Queen, Guinevere. "But there was on more Knight standing: It was Mordred. tiredly, Arthur limped towards him." "Gawain lay face down in the mud." "If you battle Mordred at this river tomorrow, thousands of good knights shall die here." "The river ran red with blood." About the moc: I included several cool things: The glass stained windows do let light through, so it makes a really cool pattern. you can't really see it n the picture though. I also have a light brick where Galahad finds the Grail, as shown in the main pic, but again, you couldn't tell in the picture, so I just edited it to look better. When you put the second level on top of the first one, you get lightning striking as Arthur pulls out the sword… just a fun thing you can do when you have the body of a minifig built into a lake. The whole tower. It has a few extra supports that I took off for the pictures, and it is easy to separate the levels from each other. There are six in all. Pretty tall from that angle, isn't it? This was my very first story tower, and I had a blast making it. I spent probably more than an hour on each of those levels, and almost a whole period presenting at school. I have since taken it apart for parts, but I will probably remember it for some time, partly because I brought Lego to school, which is a pretty cool thing in itself. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it!
