BrickBattle Games Round 3: Fraser Robinson vs Graham Gidman . . For this round of the competition I was pitted against my toughest opponent yet, Graham Gidman. Also, here is the link to the BrickBattle Games homepage. The category for this round was Privateer Rampage; 'many Kings and Queens of England hired Privateers to attack Spanish ships and settlements. they were little more than pirates but they were effective. Build a moc of these fearsome men'. This category proved a huge challenge for me, as not only have I never built anything to do with pirates, I also don't have any pre-built hulls for boats. Luckily for me it turns out the amazing Mark Erickson has many wonderful solutions to this problem. I have to tell you I'm definetly not thrilled about the castle, I tried to make it look modern but it just turned out bland. However that being said I am very proud of how the pirate ship turned out, and I hope that you like it as well. By far my favourite part of the MOC, the pirate ship. It is all Lego, although some of the railing sections have been cut to the correct length. A close up of the brick built hull. The build without minifigures. The Minifigures, as you call tell I don't own that many pirates (or Spanish men for that matter). The Spanish Prince. Thank you for viewing, and good luck to all of the other competitors!
