Christine . Barquentine / Schooner Bark . Happy New Year folks! Although it may look very similar to my old version (the Phippy Christine) it has definitely improved a lot in many aspects. A fully functional capstan allowing to haul up both anchors independently has been added, overall the deck is finished, the cabin now has an entrance :P Catheads redone, the whole bow section for that matter actually. Rigging has been added, allong with channels against the sides for a more historically accurate design. And the sails are bigger, and better attached. A three-mast ship, built on a hull with 4 midsections (although 2 of them are built out of inverted slopes). Not my biggest but certainly one of my more detailed ships. Apart from sails and rigging it consists out of 100% lego. Enjoy the pictures, if you're not suffering from a hangover too much :P Be sure to check out the functional capstan at Eurobricks! This ship might be featured in my pirate series 'More than a hull and sails' at some point.
