2014 Mocathalon: The Dog Ate My Homework . Team: The Brick-Tacs LINK Category: The Dog Ate my Homework Heard that one a million times. But, show us YOUR best reason for not having it to hand in. Did it get caught in the garage door opener? Did you get attacked by a bus full of angry penguins? What's your excuse, mister? . Link: 2014 Mocathalon Jimmy's up to his old tricks...again. *sigh* He completely forgot to turn in his 2014 Mocathalon Entry that was MANDATORY to complete and return to his school. And why is this mandatory? It's a LEGO school for goodness sakes, what else would you expect? Oh, I'm Jimmy's conscious...he completely ignores me until he needs me. Well, except for today. He's on his own for that. Sorry, I'm a bit stressed because he barely uses me. Still, kinda entertaining to watch him get in trouble and blaming me for it. We're here at the most disgusting place in the world...the school's cafeteria. Anyways, let's take a look at what his friends are doing. Jimmy's friends, Christina and Max; they're pretty cool. I don't exactly know what they're staring at though. Jimmy: "What're we lookin' at? Sam's terrible choice of fashion?" And that was an example of his mind NOT using me... Jimmy: "Oh my...what the heck is that?" Is that...barf? Sam: "Guys...what's wrong? You've been staring at me for like 10 minutes." Sam: "Oh...well then." Sam: "This hasn't been my best day..." Christina: "So guys, how did your Mocathalon project come along?" Jimmy: "Crud! I completely forgot about that!" Time to get out the popcorn... Christina: "What?! You can't forget about that! Principal Phipson will kill you if you don't turn it in!" Jimmy: "Ok, first off...Principal Phipson, PP, HA! *snorts* And second off, I think I've got the perfect excuse!" For the record I was kind of thinking of PP too... Max: "It better be a good one, dude, cause' you're in second period for Brick Science!" Mr. Mustachio: Hrm, hrm hrm hrm hrm hrm, hrm hrm hrm, hrm hrm hrm hrm hrm! *lifts mask* Mr. Mustachio: "And that, is why you NEVER want to split an atom. Well everyone, I hope you're having a great 'Hat Day'!" Mr. Mustachio: "Unfortunately, some of us took it a little to far..." Spartan Teen: "...says the guy wearing a full on Iron Man mask." Mr. Mustachio: "...and some of us didn't wear a hat at all!" Sam: *sigh* Mr. Mustachio: "You're a disgrace, Sam. Even S-Kelly's wearing a hat! And it matches the month, too!" Mr. Mustachio: "Anyways, it's time to turn in your Brick Science Fair Projects, aka the 2014 Mocathalon! Yes Jimmy, what's your question?" Time to get out the popcorn! Jimmy: "Well, Mr. M, I wasn't asking anything, I just wanted to say that I was not able to bring my project here today." The whole room gasps, all knowing the consequences were extreme. Jimmy: "Let me tell you what happened..." Jimmy: "I was on my way to school with Max, carrying the project, which was, ironically, a model of the school." Jimmy: "My arch nemesis, Bruce, was on the way to school too, when he realized that he had forgotten his project." Jimmy: "He saw me and Max carrying the project, and realized it was the perfect opportunity. The perfect opportunity to steal my project and claim it as his own!" Bruce (quoting): "Hey Jimmy! Nice project, you've got there. Maybe you should just hand it over to me, before someone gets hurt." Jimmy (quoting): "I'm so sick of you always wanting and taking my stuff! I should teach you a lesson!" Jimmy: "I left Max with the project, and ran off to take care of Bruce." Jimmy: "Max of course, tried to warn me, but it was too late. He set the project down on the sidewalk and ran after me." Jimmy: "I punched Bruce once (as a Smart Car drove by), but before I could do any more damage, Jimmy: "...Max stopped me. Bruce gave a look of disgust and ran off." Jimmy: "When we came back to pick up the project, a terrible sight met our eyes!" Jimmy: "The Smart Car that was relatively close to the sidewalk had smashed my project!" Mr. Mustachio: "You know, I would've believed that, if I didn't know that you and Bruce were best friends!" The whole room gasps once again. In fact, even I gasped. And I should know this stuff! Mr. Mustachio: "You know, we've finally developed a system to deal with punks like you. Come on in, BC!" *CRASH* Mr. Mustachio: "You've got to be kidding me, how many times have I told you-" Bad Cop: "It's the perfect coverup!" The whole room gasps AGAIN. Jimmy: "Bad Cop!? I thought you stopped working for President Business!" Bad Cop: "I did, and now I work for PP!" Whole Class: *snorts* Bad Cop: "You're going to be sent to MOC-Jail! Now get off that chair or I'll come over and kick you out of it!" Bad Cop: *Puts Jimmy's hands behind back* "People like you make me sick..." Jimmy: "I-I didn't know the consequences were THIS bad! And isn't there supposed to be a Good Cop?!" Good Cop: "Hi buddy! Don't worry, this interrogation will go completely smooth. We'll get take-out on the way, too!" Jimmy: "Oh that sounds great maybe we could go to MOCdonald's and I could get a BigMOC-" Bad Cop: "Too bad!" *Pushes against desk* Jimmy: "I am SO confused!" Jimmy: "Please don't send me to MOC-Jail! It was a petty crime! I'm not even sure if it officially was a crime!" Bad Cop: "PP's school, his orders!" Jimmy: *snorts* You said PP- Bad Cop: "Shut up!" MOC Pictures: The entire MOC. Personally, I loved how this turned out. My favorite part was the exterior, my first try at landscaping. A man with his dog, pretty cute, I guess. :P His friend taking a picture, then again, I'd expect most people to use their iPhones now a days... Underwater detailing, not much, but IMO, I like it. A couple having a little picnic. Mm...honey and sparkling cider...sounds like a great picnic to me! The roof, which includes solar panels, piping, small rocks, ...and A/C. Looks like the A/C Repairman accidentally turned it on the 'hot' setting. The cafeteria, with SNOTty floors, mysterious stains, and serve-yourself areas...cafeterias are truly disgusting these days. The serve-yourself area, with meat, gravy, and mashed potatoes! The table, with some strange moss spore thing on there... The office. It's bland, but then again, most schools aren't very decorated in their front office. xD But when it comes to classrooms, there are always surprises. Anyways, the Brick Science class, which I decorated a bit. The desks. The astronaut, which was cool to put in. Yeah, there's a reflection. S-Kelly, and a science-y sort of thing I put there. Maybe a DNA strand. :P The classroom, figless. Look's like Bruce is modeling the new Smart Car! In fact, this is sort of based off of the car that was included in the set the Lego City Garage. Side of the car. Back of the car. One last shot of the whole thing. Fourth Wall: This was fun to build, and definitely worth it. My first try on landscaping went pretty well, in my opinion. I wish luck to all the other teams, my teammates, and I hope you guys all have a great time competing in the MA!
