Mini Archon . Archon Amarr carrier from EVE Online . The Archon is the Amarr carrier. It is a capital class vessel that can field 10 drones and can use fighter drones. Archons have a very heavy armor tank, and have bonuses to remote armor repair range and capacitor transfer range. As such they serve as highly competent logistics ships. Archons are the favored triage carrier to support armor fleets since they are so difficult to kill, and are very popular due to the armor meta. In a more recent meta, archons are used as "slowcats", heavily armored remote-repair sentry boats. Recent changes to drone assign mechanics, as well as counter-metas, have caused this tactic to diminish in popularity. From the game EVE Online: The Archon was commissioned by the Imperial Navy to act as a personnel and fighter carrier. The order to create the ship came as part of a unilateral initative issued by Navy Command in the wake of Emperor Kor-Azor's assassination. Sporting the latest in fighter command interfacing technology and possessing characteristically strong defenses, the Archon is a powerful aid in any engagement. I've been wanting to do an Archon for a while, with its recent rise in popularity. I finally buckled down to do it, and it came rather easily once I figured out how I would represent the sides. The bit on the front underside isnt the perfect size, but it was the best solution I could come up with after an hour of brainstorming. However, I am happy with the way the ship turned out overall.
