LIU Pruner Mech 5000 . Eliminate weeds from your fields and up your crop production with the LIU Pruner Mech 5000. . LIU Pruner Mech 5000 The Ludgonian Industrial Union is proud to present another farm-based product, the Pruner Mech 5000. The Pruner Mech 5000 is an agile mech armed with a super-powered, weed grabbing arm. Keep your fields at maximum production and destroy your weeds today! (Note: You may want to check out our other farm based products like the LIU Grain Cargo Transport and the LIU Aerial Farm Tender.) The small and lightweight Pruner Mech can manuever the narrow lanes between crops without stomping down any of your plants. Well, it depends on who you have driving... Its construction may be simple, but rest assured its very sturdy. Fun Fact #1: The Pruner Mech 5000 consumed the LIU's entire stock of hinged blue pieces. The Pruner Mech 5000 sports a fifteen foot mechanical arm that allows the pruner to pull weeds from the crops below. Fun Fact #2: The hand on the end of the arm is sensitive enough to grip a weed without cutting through it, yet it is powerful enough to crush bones. Hmm...maybe thats not such a fun fact. The tall flag on the Pruner Mech insures that it is seen from above and not accidently dusted with chemicals by the LIU Aerial Farm Tender. Fun Fact #3: The man that pilots this Pruner Mech (Unit #76) has been working the fields for about forty years. Pretty soon, he'll earn his first vacation. Springy, shock loaded legs give the Pruner Mech the agility it needs to move through the fields. At full speed, the Pruner Mech tops out at about 40 mph. Fun Fact #4: Its common to see the pilots race their Pruner Mechs for their nightly entertainment. Don't ever bet against Unit #76. The pilots uses the HUD to target the offending weeds. The curved roof above gives the pilot some relief from the sun. Fun Fact #5: The LIU Super-Farms are placed on planets with multiple suns. This insures constant daylight and faster crop growth. Action Shots Today, Unit #76 is working the Snosberry fields. The shrubs have yet to fruit, but its early in the season. Here, he carefully pulls out the LIU Super-Farms' nemesis, the Lava Flower Weed. The Lava Flower Weed grows on small shrubs, choking its host plant as it tightens around its trunk. Fun Fact #6: The LIU has spent billions of dollars trying to develop a chemical that can kill the Lava Flower Weed, but so far, it has eluded us. For now, the LIU will stick to using brute strength to rip them out. Fun Fact #8: The LIU skipped Fun Fact #7. Fun Fact #9: It's a felony punishable by death to be in possession of Lava Flower Weed seeds. Unfortunately, people risk the crime because the flower is one of several forms of Space Spice found in the galaxy. Note: The LIU recommends the Pruner Mech 5000 be used for commercial puposes. Residential users should look into the Pruner Mech 1000 with built in dandelion killer. And REMEMBER, Space Spice kills!
