STuG III Ausf. F 1/15 (RC) Girls und Panzer . only 8 days later another tank with funky color scheme. . This build was inspired by the Girls und panzer series. It also allowed me to try and take another attempt at a STuG III. This time its the Ausf. F variant. Some of the major flaws that existed in my old STuG III Ausf. G was that the proportions weren't correct, it utilizes modified parts for the inaccurate suspension, and the drive sprockets were mounted at the rear instead of the front like on the real vehicle. So with this build I was able to incorporate quite a lot of SNOT work on the hull and kept the PF parts within the hull. I was able to diverge from my standard color scheme of light grey and go to the complete extreme opposite colors necessary for a AFV. I was forced to not include most of the blue on this model because the only color that I have enough of blue of was the normal and dark blue instead of light blue. The tank features full torsion bar suspension, 2 XL motors with 20:12 gearing, lights, track tensioner, and gun traverse. the Torsion bars are offset and staggered like on the real Pz. III chassis The STuG has a low profile just add tall flags to fix that problem double bevel 12 tooth gears control track tension, I think this function will be mandatory on every tank that i build now gun traversed Flags that flap majesticly in the wind track untensioned (note position of worm gear) tension applied torsion bar suspension at work. The STuG knocked out It sitting on my Panther hull for comparison
