25th Century Mech - Reboot - Lord Erebus + Elite Guard . The Bad Guy . Lord Erebus, an egotist who has secured an entire planet as his seat of power. One of the many self-proclaimed "lords" of the human empire, he wields absolute power of the colony of Tartarus. Lord Erebus is far from unprotected. He wears a variation on the Protoframe armour, which is specifically designed to be augmented using power frame enhancements*. He is normally seen with his hand picked elite guardsmen, taken from the brightest, best and most loyal of his paratroopers. Besides being clad in red and black armour, to distinguish them from the ordinary Shadow Force troopers. They also have additional power features, making them faster and stronger than the standard model. Erebus uses a hi-tech throne from which his armour receives constant real-time updates of his troops in battle and can take control of remote units. Do not be fooled, many think Erebus is a lazy, spoiled brat, barking orders from the rear and keeping his hands clean. But Erebus fought his way to the top. His armour was customised long ago to be more than a match for exo-frames several times his size. He is a skilled tactician and proficient in multiple forms of combat. Hand him any weapon and he will know at least 50 ways to tear your armour to shreds with it. Erebus has only one weakness, his lust for both power and revenge blind him to what is just and right in any situation. For him his word is law, and only the fates can take his power from him. This often means he fails to judge how his will is perceived outside of his territory, where he is hated universally. *My original plan was that the throne would in fact be a power harness fitting over the protoframe variant. This would have made Lord Erebus one of the largest and most complex of these designs. But I was having a little trouble with clearance issues in LDD and abandoned the Mark I model without taking any images. My plan is to begin developing a frame more in the scale of my Big Red design, and then modifying it to fit a micromecha pilot.
