Lego Technic Tumbler Batmobile Power functions - Brightest day White Knight . The Batman Begins Tumbler was one of the most difficult built scale models that I have created thus far. It took me a lot of time and effort to come to the end result. This time I present an almost totally white version of the Batman begins Tumbler. Not only because of its color, but also because its police decals I named it after White Knight tumbler. With “white” I refer to law and enforcement. . After building the Dark Knight Tumbler I built the White Knight Tumbler in under one week. Personally I don’t think I will build any more, because two Tumblers are enough and I want to focus more on building new things. To create the White Knight Tumbler, I first had to disassemble the Black Tumbler and it almost looked like I destroyed it. Looks deceive, because I always create sub-assemblees that are easy to fit back together. I saw that most builders build black Tumblers and for the change I created a white Tumbler. Normally I never use any decals, but I made an exception for the police decals. It was meant to be a straight copy of the black Tumbler. Instead, the differences are due to the lack of specific white parts that were only available in black or vice versa. Also, the the steering part now contains a medium motor instead of a servomotor. The Power Functions I added: - battery box (1) - extra large electric motor (1) - medium electric motor (3) - power functions lights (3) I didn’t have to redesign the mechanisms again and copied every moving mechanisms from the black Tumbler. Here and there I built as much items as I could more simple to make it more lightweight than the black Tumbler. I added one extra spring on each side to make the front bounce a bit more stiff. While I built this Tumbler, I didn't have to go through all difficulties I had when I built the black Tumbler. On this model, everything moves just as smooth as in the black Tumbler. These are the built-in mechanisms: - working steering (RC) - working feathers - cabin opens as a rose (RC)
