Where the Wild Things Are . Built for Brickworld Chicago 2015 for the "Brick Time Stories" collaborative, this vignette is built on an open book and based on Maurice Sendak's timeless picture book, Where the Wild Things Are. . As a child, Where The Wild Things Are was one of my favorite stories. The character Max, shown throughout the book wearing his wolf suit, required some crazy uses of non-recessed headlight bricks to create a box with tiles and jumper-plates on every side. One of Sendak's nameless Wild Things. The eyes use the 1970s Homemaker figure heads. Due to college studies, I have been in sort of a dark age, but I hope to repost a few of my old builds soon. Enjoy! SDG
