Runk - V3 . It's about time I post something, ain't it? Well here I'm proud to present my newest version of my self moc, version 3! He's advanced quite a bit since the first version, and will continue to do so. This time, Runk is back with a complete redesign with an updated colour scheme of Green, Silver and Black. Now he has a lot more greebles too. Anyway, on to the moc! In the main pic you can see Runk has returned with his gauntlets, however, they're much cleaner looking. I also went with a silver "boot" design and black for the limb colours. I'm happy that I cut back on the use of trans pieces, because they make some mocs look "crowded" IMO. I really like how I was able to mesh CCBS and normal Technic for the build. I talk about the torso in the following pictures. . I was experimenting with some filters in this post, so mind the pictures. (I've found this mask is always cooler when it's not looking at the camera. XD) Here's a back view. The one thing I don't like is the amount of blue pins, on the moc. I couldn't find any alternative connections however, so I'm at least content. This gives you a good look at the torso. I've become detached from the previous shield piece I've used for Runk's chest armour, and I like the look of this now much better. I also like the new heartlight design used here, where typically just a stud is used, I have swapped it for a grilled panel. The greebles look nice and add to the build too. You can see the two silver metru chests I used to thicken the upper portion that attempts to give off a strong, armoured vibe. This is a weird pose. It shows the new gauntlets. I like this pose a lot better, I'm swapping it out for my other pic on my homepage. I brought back the wing things from V2, I liked those. Runk also has a new staff, although it isn't yet refined. I'm still thinking of a simple but appealing design and I'll probably post it on flickr when it's finished. What's coming next? Guess! Please leave comments and criticism as I would really like to hear what people think of my upgraded SM. This is definitely my favourite moc to date, and can now only be outdone in the future! See you next time! P.S. I've started working on Ivan and Ivax's SM's. I'll try to have at least one done by the end of February.
