Rescue Ambulance 1 . RA 1, like all Rescue Ambulances, is staffed by two firefighter/paramedics. . Driverís side Driverís side compartments open to store the PPE and various medical gear. RA1 is typically the busiest apparatus at Station 1. Rear is inspired by David H. Doors open to reveal the patient compartment. The new Rescue Ambulances were most definitely inspired by the real life LAFD's RAM rescue ambulances. Officer's side compartments hold a wide variety of life-saving gear. All compartments open on the officerís side as well! Rescue Ambulance 1 is located at the heart of downtown Castle Beach and responds to over 20 calls a day. Brand new Rescue Ambulances 1 and 5 will replace the 2017 Fords. Those RAs will be reassigned to Station 4 and Station 9. Both ambulances with the rear doors open Brand new Rescue Ambulance 1 has been delivered! With EMS calls at an all time high, Castle Beach Fire Department is taking steps to meet those demands. With these two new resources, Castle Beach Fire Dept now has 6 rescue ambulances in service. Special features of the ambulances include the functional doors and compartments. Technical specs: 2019 RAM 4500 4x4/Braun NW Federal Q2B siren Motorola Spectra siren Grover airhorns Whelen lighting Certified ALS transport Credits: David H for inspiring the functional doors Notes: This was an extremely fun build for me! I am proud to say that, despite the small scale, the entire rig is fully functional! The only things missing are motorized elements, real lights, and a siren :p
