HME Type 3 4x4 Wildland Fire Engine . After watching some documentaries about California wildfires I decided to build one of the CalFire wildland fire engines. Watching the firefighters fighting those incredibly dangerous fires impressed me a lot and so I thought it's about time to honor all the California ff's with this model because they are doing such an impressive and hard job protecting lives and property with their own lives. Dedicated to the active ff's in California, their fallen brothers and all the civil victims of wildfires. Model facts: The first non FDNY and CFD unit in my collection, of course with as much detail as possible, reflective striping and chevrons, hose (preconnected and stored) made of third party cord. No numbering because I wanted a generic wildland unit standing for all the units you can find in California. The same with the license plate - but still a CA excempt plate. Hope you enjoy. :o) .
