The Void Crawlers . There is no life... in the void... . Originally concieved as stealth ships for an alien microfleet I was building for Nova Refuge, I realized these would also make great Black Fantasy creatures with a few modifications. Since these were originally concieved as micro-scale, it's still interesting to think of them that way. Imagine the orange dots as giant domes, filled with orange light, inside each of which floats a brain-like black fantasy organism, its tentacles writhing over unseen controls... of course, the ones on the back are meant to be engines. These guys are my favorite. Somehow they just seemed creepier with only one eye. Heading back to the void now. It seems they failed to spot you... this time. Replies: Matt S.: Actually my first attempt is here, but thanks! ;-) Keith Goldman: It was Nannan's fault! *points* He made me use the pristine Apple ad backgrounds! I would have made a dio, but ehhh this was my more serious entry.
