The Tree . Behold, a tree! well actually this is my first attempt at a floating rock, with some neat foliage features as well. there is a full tree, complete with roots and all, on one side of the rock, and a stump of the same sized tree on the other, again with roots. the top of the rock indicates ground level, with the tree and stump comming up from the ground and the roots going into it. i really like how detailed and "realistic" the whole tree looks! but really, what kind of tree is better than a floating tree! . Top of the rock. The dead side of the rock. The deep roots, which cling to the floating rock. I don't know why the roots are green... The tree! which is quite tall (minifig scale of course!) it's pretty hard to go wrong with making branches or leaves. The trunk too is fairly simple, yet looks great. And now the construction for this marvelous tree! (in case you couldn't figure it out...) The roots with the studs facing up. looks sort of errie upside down. The bottom of the stump. The tree and the stump as if they were on the ground. The trick of the whole MOC, 4 little technic connectors. Looks good for only being a tree.
