US Army AH-64D Apache Longbow . My US Army AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter/Gunship . Yeah! I finished it! This is still my AH-64D Apache gunship. Not much has changed since the WIP version was posted, but the landing gear, tailrotor, and sensor package under the nose are all new, and I weeded out some of the red. AIIIIIIGHH! Too much red! I'm pretty happy with it overall. The pictures above have longer rotors, and show the chopper providing Close Air Support for the AHMCAV. Below are some more in-depth pictures of the chopper, with worse rotors. That's pretty much it as far as a description...enjoy! Side view. Same as before, but without flash. Front view. I spent the better part of a year and a half brainstorming before I came up with this, only to find Bryce Rollins uses nearly the same technique. Sad, isn't it? Same with no flash. Shoulder view. This is armed with inboard AGM-144 HELLFIRE missiles, outboard HYDRA 70mm rocket pods, and AIM-9 Sidewinders. The Apache can carry Sidewinders, though Jack claims they aren't on wingtip rails, but are on the hardpoints where the HYDRAs are. Feel free to chew me out on this! Top view... ...and bottom view. Thanks for coming, please review!
