V9 Eagle . A nice ship that is. A little on the pacifist side, but it can defeat itself . V9 Eagle This is a UFSS V9-Eagle, my 5th MOC to present you! Story The UFSS has a couple of fighters to send out of the hangars, and one fo them is the V9-Eagle. It's a comparatively massive built fighter, but only equipped with 2 light machine guns. But on the other hand, it offers plenty of room for computers and equippment, making it a great reconnaissance / patrol fighter, what (surprise surprise) is it's main purpose. Under normal circumstances, the V9-Eagle patrols around starbases, or flies reconnaissance missions to nearby playces of interest, in units of 2 fighters. Under severe circumstances, they often fly in units of 4 or 5 machines. The Model The model grew slowly, from the wings to the body, with minor use of SNOT technique around the (massive) nose. I entirely built this model from scratch, only plans I had were those poor descriptions I wrote down in my novel. With the growth of the model, the descriptions of the Eagle became more defined so the model you see now represents what the novel describes. Rendering Time: About 22 minutes per picture except cockpit view 58 minutes oblique view of the V9 Eagle, giving a good idea of why I think it has a rather massive body A front view, showing the looooooo...ooong nose (bout 13 studs to the front-end of the windshield Crank the engines, where're go for launch... Launch successful, wings in position, let's start the stroll (I see a gun, you too?) A pilots view on a lot of screens... Now it's up to you, comment it. Thanks for your time!
