Colt Python semi-auto rbg . A white Colt Python semi auto rbg . This is a white replica of the famous Colt Python. i got the idea after playing GTA: Liberty City Stories, where one of the weapons you unlock with hidden packages is a python. the gun uses a pretty simple mechanism for the semi-auto function. basically when you pull the trigger, a piece to the left and down of the rb spindle (the bit you put the rbs on) is moved away. this means that the spindle can do nearly a complete half turn, but a piece that was moved when you pulled the trigger gets in the way. the trigger has to bhe released for this piece to move, allowing the spindle to complete its half turn and rest against the piece it started of against. the trick was getting it to fit inside the silouette of the python, which i think i did well, apart from the grip. that needs some serious work. the reason that the gun is white is that i still have my desert eagle and MP5 made up, and i had run out of black bricks!! Pics looking down the sights. you can see the spindle (the black thing) trigger guard (and trigger) the mechanism. this pic shows the mech with the trigger released. trigger pulled, you can see that the spindle has started its rotation. spindle near end of its half turn, but stopped by the protruding dark grey piece thats about all there is to it! the gun makes a great clicking noise when it fires, and the bands go really far. if you can work out how to make it, i recommend that you do!!
